yeah that makes sense, havent messed with DIUs much yet i was just wondering

so would one be able to take a DIU and the maxtrac with the p25 repeater mod and interface it? like mod the maxtrac and hook the diu to it and it will encode analog voice from a centracom and decode the astro imbe for the centracom?

i know the XTS2500 can do two lines of text and you can put custom static text on the bottom line, is there a way like in the XTLs to have the Zone display on one line of the screen and the channel/talkgroup on the other line on the screen that way i can have 12 chars on the zone and mode?

basically i have a one op 6 channel setup here and i was just seeing what it would take to convert it to a one op elite, i have a cie and the software i just was wondering what cards had to be changed out

can a centracom 2 be converted to an elite gold? if so what cards have to be replaced?

I have some 6 ones and infact the one i have in the radio im playing with has one thats a 6.16, and if youd like to get rid of that one i might could use that, im changing my spectras around, is the procedure for changing NLMs that difficult? im still working on figuring out this moflag stuff

THANK YOU JAYMZ i got the model changed just fine, now the spectra is capable of mdc call right? do i have to add that in there some how by bit banging? or should it appear in the rss? or moflags? does anyone have the excel spreadsheet on the moflags or have some info to get me started with moflags?...

I have a mw 520 its the 5201 model, it was working fine but now when i push the power button the three light/buttons (including the temp light i guess thats what it is, it is the red one) bilnk a couple of times and the computer does nothing, any one have any ideas?

I have a ht1250 that i need to replace the flex cable for the speaker/mic..Dose any one have the part number for the ribbon cable,internal speaker and the mic. all in one assembly.

The other radios are a mixture of xts3000 ht1250 going through a repeater for ID of the unit and it will decode on the 1250. All set for Post PTT

Oh when i posted the original post i should have said it is set on post PTT

What should be the default seting for the time in the MDC

I have a cm300 VHF i cannot seam to get the MDC-1200 to decode on the display. Once in a blue mood one will decode. Dose anyone have any ideas.
