Apx8000 accessory mic is too sensitive. I do not see a variable sensitivity adjustment like in TRBO CPS. All I see is normal, custom, reduce feedback.
How do I adjust for less sensitivity?

CPS will not read radio. I think chips must be scrambled. Radio is now in box with other duds. Are there any manuals for European or asian models? If so, what is model number?

I have programmed a new APX1500 with a MDC system and it does not decode unit numbers. I did not program and do not use MDC encode. Is MDC decode standard in all APX or is it an option? If standard what is most common program mistake?

Just tried to read with CPS and unable to detect device error. However, radio will receive and transmit without a switch and volume control installed. Have max volume.

Radio switch off and radio is on. Radio switch removed from board and radio is on. Battery does not make any difference when taken off and on. I have a CP200d UHF that is always powered on. I removed switch-volume control and radio is still on. The switch applies ground to turn radio on. There is 500 ohms on switch lug. Where is that leakage coming from?

R2400 was shutting down every 10-15 minutes. I jumped the thermal breaker and it run for an hour before I turned it off.

I need the inside part of the antenna jack that is behind the front panel or the complete jack. Is there a part number or source? The replacement fuse did not go into the center of connector and crushed the contact.

I have a CP200d VHF analog (in service for 3 years) that had a blown fuse. I replaced the fuse and radio was good for 30 minutes. I switched radio off and let it sit overnight. Next morning the fuse was blown again. What is the problem?

I like the filter idea. There are 2 different VHF boards. One type has a 45.100 crystal for IF filter. The board I have has a 44.850 IF crystal filter and 4 white filters. I assume 2 for each band width. I programmed 25 and 20 widths on channels and still have same problems.

I was able to get voice mail once. Other times it was full. No return call. This recorder got a power surge and display is lite up blue, but no letters or numbers. Inside unit there are 5 LED's. One is lite blue. The others are off. I can hear the hard drive running. Is there a reset?
