Re: 7000 flash code question (GPS)
I have to add.... GPS in these radios is useless unless you're part of a P25 system which uses it for radio/officer location through the command console. For amateur use, the GPS coordinates on your cell phone (iPhone or Android) are much more accurate and quicker to obtain (not to mention the fact...

My understanding is that the radio will only support on BT audio accessory at a time. You can pair an audio, and up to 5 data devices at a time.

You have to be joking. The R.I.C.K. IS obsolete... Build a simple interface cable that plugs into each radio. You do not need anything that is in the old R.I.C.K. I was thinking of a mobile application from P25 to ProVoice. I would like to enable and disable on demand. I realize that this an old pi...

My APX FW was recently updated to 9.00.00 and I am no longer hearing trunked traffic while scanning from a conventional ch. If I switch over to a trunked group, it will scan all my selected TG's. The problem is I spend a lot of time on a conventional ch and still need to hear the tunked side.

I think you can keep the system, but you need to remove the write protect option. This will allow you to edit the conv, but not the P25 statewide (ASK) trunk sys. All of this would have to be done by the ASK holder.
