The European versions are called DP and DM for portable and mobile, respectively.
Although I think they use different numbering schemes too.

I wouldn't mind knowing if this is possible too, but I doubt somehow.

Will give it a go.

Re: What is the Password reset real deal.
Well, I found 2 minutes to do some testing today, and guess what? The Winhex RAM editor method of finding passwords works for TRBO CPS, just like it does for most others as detailed in the thread below: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=51318&hilit=winhex Follow the instructions posted in the thread. If...

Ugh. Be easier to buy a J-split to be honest. I don't have test gear to do that myself... but the info might be useful to someone else.

Re: P25 below 146MHz on a K split Astro Spectra?
Well my K split transmits IMBE/P25 fine below 146, but nothing will decode it... I presume the deviation is out of whack below 146? Or something isn't JUST right.

Re: P25 below 146MHz on a K split Astro Spectra?
Dang it.
Well the specs are:
Model: T04KKH9PW9AN
Host: 11.10.00.00
DSP: N08.02.06
Flash: 599108-145E00-0
I've had word there's a hack which involves deviation and what not.. but with no test gear I guess I'm SOL

P25 below 146MHz on a K split Astro Spectra?
As above really!
Will a K split Astro Spectra do P25 below 146MHz.
I've programmed in a spot freq (144.675) and the radio transmits what sounds like P25, but I'm not getting a decode on either my EFJ 5100 or my Astro Saber 3...
Are there any hacks I can do?

Re: Flashcode option preventing DES-XL encryption?
Erik: Have you made sure the tx deviation and channel spacing is set to the wide options? (25kHz/5kHz) I had the same problem with analogue securenet not working, and it would default to P25 as the secure method, unless I made sure the personality was set to wide deviation. I may have read the quest...

Re: Astro Spectra Plus UHF from Range 1 to R2
There are people out there who can use a Q split Spectra.
Might be better to sell to them and recoup your losses and put the money towards a range 2.
Hint - theres a PM button just under here...

Re: Which T3011 do I have?
Hmm, ok small problem - I tried enabling Securenet on an analogue channel... it wouldn't let me unless I disabled XL encryption on the Saber. It's not a big deal at all because I'd prefer to use P25 with DES instead... just wondered why it wouldn't let me do it... keyloader issue or something I've n...

Re: Which T3011 do I have?
Many thanks, A bit more info is needed from me, I think... my main need is to load my Astro Saber, Astro Spectras and my 3000 with this thing. IF its a BX that's been upgraded to CX, then I'll need a DX chip. If however its actually a DX I guess I'm good to go - or were you intimating that a CX can ...

Which T3011 do I have?
Carrying on from my thread in the For Sale section, I thought it best to ask the Q here: I have a T3011 which is in a BX case but it says CX in black pen next to it. The Firmware chip U103 on the board is a replacement and says TVN6150A DES-XL ASN So - question is twofold: Is this upgradable to DX? ...

Try reflowing the solder on the joints at the top of the radio.
Have two here that have cracked solder joints.
