We DO have an account with them & buy several radio batteries, etc. call them--the price you see on the web will not be what you pay....

we're now buying ML900 batteries from Interstatebatteries.com--so far, so good @ the 3 month mark

There is a setting in the BIOS for the backlight also--hit F2 when machine is booting.

We got one redone at batteryrefill.com--so far so good. We also bought 7 or 8 of the newer version from Motorola--not cheap but they're working OK so far. We have 60 "originals" from 3 years ago and about 50% are junk...very frustrating.

W9 consolette cable extension

I want to be able to leave a cable plugged-in "permanently" in a rack-mounted consolette for on-the-fly programming changes. The ribless programming cable (HKN6155A) works fine but the radio won't transmit when its plugged in. What I want is an extension from the "modular 10-pin"...

Am I missing something? I've been programming XTS3000 w/CPS a few years and now we have XTS2500 models also--is there a way to get the 3000 codeplug into the 2500 Astro25 software w/o making extensive changes with the new format (frequencies in the channel lists rather than personalities?).
