Motorola P25 800 system encryption patching
Does anyone know if a Motorola 800 P25 phase 1 trunking system can have 2 talk groups hard or soft patched at either console or trunking controller to allow two talk groups with two seperate aes encryption keys to be patched? I realize the system would normally single broadcast with two talkgroup id...

I have a pair of Minitor V pagers in VHF. Labeled as 160's band. Used engineering mode to change to 150's. Will not lock on channels in the mid 150's. Anyone have any ideas on what else I can do?

Has anyone come up with a way to do some sort of remote start functionality for a vehicle using signalling of some sort?
I would really like the idea of being able to start/stop my vehicle within handheld range or repeater range for that matter...
Thoughts?

In that case, I will be best served by using a HHCH for one, and regular for the other, and can then use either, and swap cables to radios if need be.

Looking to share a head between A4 Astro Spectras between 800 and VHF.
Wondering if anyone has found an easy way to install a "switch", possibly using a pc parallel port splitter, something to avoid having to actually unplug the head cable in order to use the other band...

I find the most valuable functionality of PM's to be that which allows one to see if the recipient has received the PM. I think, especially with purchases and trades, it offers buyers a quicker response from sellers and likewise.

Recently acquired an inexpensive R100 in UHF. It is a H5016B. I am having an issue re-banding my XTS3000. Firmware is re-bandable, but the channel spacing only lets me select 25khz or 12.5 khz, not 20khz, as was selectable in the spot for the "old" NPSPAC band. The codeplug has the "rebandable" softbox checked permanently. Is this a CPS iss...

Never mind. In fact, it does write. It gives an error message, but upon inspection, the codeplug did write to the pager. I bought a Minitor 4 for a friend, and programmed it up.
The problem is, although the CP reflects the correct programming, it will not recieve traffic on the programmed channel. All functions seem to be fine, CP reads and writes fine, etc.
Any ideas?
Thanks

I'm just sorta glad at least they are putting them both in the same chassis now...
I'm not expecting the price to be low with the new APX models, know what they will be going for?
I'll just be glad to see the department be able to scan both bands on the same radio.
