Does anyone have any leads on a cheap GPS system for the motorola XPR6350 that works well? Just need to locate some portables for a project and was looking at motorola Streettrack... any feedback?

Hey group.. stumped with a channel selector issue.. when radio is programmed with 14 channels.. personality setup for 14 channels.. channel selector won't move up or down? Can hear the buttons beep but won't advance? Any ideas with the issue? Very stumped here..

Use a cadex analyzer to analyze these batteries... I find the impress indicator is not that really accurate...

Sounds like a shot battery.. these radios were tgeworse radios Motorola ever made. Not water sealed and lossy caps causing other issues

My suggestion is to take another maxtrac...Use the rear connectors and manually hook it up to the peltor headset... Then replace that amp connector with a nexus connector on the headset and pump panel

Very common problem with these radios.. usually off frequency and adjust the warp using a service monitor .. also check if radio is set to narrowband

Stay away from these mics...there is no filtering inside... rf will get back into the radio causing a hum or very phonic when speaking into the mic. SpeND the money on the original. Had better luck with their 2-wire surv kits

the Sl300 is a very good radio.. very good front end and will amplify scratchy RX signals into a clear crisp signal on analog. The only problem with these radios are the antenna snapping off and there are only aftermarket speaker mics for these units... the jack is a unique locking 3.5mm plug. kOODO...

these 6350 are plaque with problems... try another mic or it can be a flex issue and is a common issue... your gonna might have to replace the entire housing if the flex is a problem

you can tell if the Motorola mic is a knockoff by opening it up an there is no component board inside... everything is just hard wired into the mic, PTT and speaker.. very common problem with Impact radio accessories and ebay special.. you'll be surprised how big this market is and most knockoffs do...

mcx1000 came in 2 versions.. high split and low split..these are good radios, but you can't get anymore parts for these radios as motorola no longer supports it... your gonna hafta search around for some heads or scrap the radios..btw..these radios were programmed with an xt, 286 or 386... on DOS ba...

sounds like a typical grounding problems on these radios causing poor RX/TX..resolder all your grounds and will solve your problems.. these were headache radios back in the days.. limited support on parts

If i recall,there is a cap that separates the transmit and recieve using that connector on that accessory conector ontop.. you may blow the Audio Amp due to a floating output if you hook it up to a computer...

This is a threaded 3.5mm plug that is standardized for all Motorola family of radios... you will either hafta purchase an aftermarket speaker-mic/surveillance kit from klein or pryme to fit this connector.... The other option is to purchase an OEM speaker mic from Motorola to fit the side connector ...
