Re: Spectra Scanning Question
Well.. Had you read the posting there correctly the first time. I stated that I did not accept Paypal. You then offer to buy the radio and want it programmed. Then I send you the address to where to send the postal MO payment. Your reply ..NO DEAL. I do not have any kind of attitude. I just call it...

Re: Spectra Scanning Question
I guess if you had bought it from me off R.R.com it would have had it programmed right. Typical elitist attitude that batlabs is notorious for. I don't do postal money orders with people - I don't know to many shady correctors. And it is actually programmed right, sorry to knock your elitist attitu...

Re: Instrument Lamps come on when radio is keyed
The county has an emergency management truck that used to turn on the the red/blue grill lights when the radio is keyed up, I can't remember what they did to solve it.

Re: Please Recommend A Radio
Not enough info in your post to really help you, so... 1. Are you licensed? If not, what bands do you need to operate on? 2. Motorola doesn't make a dual band HT. 3. For most people, getting a front-panel-programmable (FPP) radio means getting a ham HT. Motorola HTs with the feature are very expens...
