Thanks for info. Radio was used in moscad sistem.
I swap it with HLN6412A accessory connector from GM900 and radio is working with that too.

Found the manual of Storno CQM5500 which is the the same radio. I have the SELECT 5 radio so it is only one button for channel select.

Hi! I have GP900-99 whitch is a nice radio but Motorola did a funny thing with channel alias. You can only assign number 0-2 for the first four segments and 0-9 for the last two. quantro cos

Hi!

I have quantro set up as analog ham repeater. I want to add link radio. As described on repeater-builder.com I used pins on J17 for PTT and COS. PTT works but COS not.

I think MT6000E is radio sold only in UK and in Europe it is known as GP900/99. It is top display 99 ch radio with special MRSS.

Hi! The quantro was dismantled to parts on the original location and cable was on the way to garbage. Last minute rescue :lol: The rpt will be used in HAM service. Hi!

Problem with PA cable solved. I was lucky to get one :lol:
This is the picture of connector on the chasis side. Colours of the wires are the same on the PA connector but orange is not connected!

GM900 acting crazy

Hi!

I have VHF GM900 that I can programm and RX is also O.K.
But when I press PTT it starts to beep continously and green an red LED are flashing. If I push buttons it returns to normal RX.
Any idea ?

Hi!

For GP/GM900/Euro Visar you need realy slow PC , somethink like 286/20.
If you can`t programm all 16 channels you must delite some other functions in the radio ( selective calling etc. ).

GM300 VHF high current draw (out of band)

Hi all.
I have a VHF gm300 programmed on 145 MHz. Power is set to 15W and currently drawing is 2x biger then on 170 MHz/15W.
I understand if radio is hacked out of band that there is no provisions for
soft pot alighnment .
How to solve this problem ?
