Re: Minitor I & II On Ham Bands
I think that it might be an "out of band" question. I definetly saw a Minitor 3 on ebay on the 2 meter hand band, so I know its possible, its out of band programming, its probably easier to do on a crystalled minitor as it cant give you the error crap for bad frequency, just some tuning ne...

Re: Communications For ATV Riding
You could possibly take your phone now and sorta "break off" the antenna. I did on mine and you can stick in whatever telescopic or whip antenna ya got, maybe 4 feet or so and see if that works

Re: MinV probibility scan vs Priority scan, experiences?
probability scan seems pretty cool. you can listen to either F1 and F2 pages transmission and on alert on F1 and F2. except that it doesnt check F1 while an F2 transmission is going. I would use Priority if your on duty

Re: priority scan Minitor V
yeh, probability scan will allow you to hear any transmissions on either channels (the yellow light will light up for that)
and it will alert on either F1 or F2
its almost the same thing as priority except with priority scan, ONLY F1 will alert

Re: Minitor 2 II WHITE NOISE problems
Sorry, I don't have any pictures. The screw I mentioned is the one that holds the housing on the pager. I only mentioned it because by starting to remove it, the stress on the circuit board changes and most times the noise will stop. Just a troubleshooting tool. Once you have the housing off the pa...

Re: Minitor 2 II WHITE NOISE problems
When it is making this noise, start to remove the screw in the bottom. If the noise stops, you probably have a squelch control pot that needs to be repaired. It happened a lot with the Min 2. I would usually remove them to find that one leg had never taken solder properly. After cleaning the legs a...
