You can't write the freqs to the radio. It bounces. No one I know has gotten this to work.

If you are stumped I am stumped. That is a new one on me. Not that it should matter but what is the production date on the radio (before or after the O9 came out....hell was the O9 after initial production or did it come out at the initial release?). Just for fun do you have an XTL5000 you can hook...

So new apx7500
Hooked it up to my o9 head, it updates the head says please rest.
When reset the radio does not turn on. I can hook up my midpower and it resyncs then works fine.
The high power drawer see's an o5 no problem too.

My 2004 Durango spits out this crap on vhf as well. A portabe is fairly useless in the car, but the apx mobile seems to do ok.

I have one dash mount spectra but i may use it as a base radio. my remote mount spectra is an a3. from what i have heard the a9 head spectra remote is the same size, shape and mounting as the a7 maratrac. it is but the brackets i have are for your a4/5/7 if you can use them, I can send it out...Im ...

It seemed ok using a mag mount, it seems just as sensitive as the 706. I'll be drilling hole number 7 Thursday, that should improve it even more.

So yes, it cane be done. I was concerned about sensitivity issues, but it is just as sensitive as my 706mk2g.

I got a used cf-29, and while I was given the bootup bios pw, they didn't have the bios admin pw.
