Model # for unit is D04RKF9PW5ANSP01. i belive the flashcode is 0000010020005. From what I understood the radio was only able to do conventional which was all I wanted at the t...

Re: MCS2000 programming question
Ok very good I will have to try that and see how it works out. I would guess the radio performs good outside the 450 range if guys are doing it. That was anther concern I had. Thanks guys.

Aftermarket MDC board question
Hello. I have a guy who has a few GP300 and SP50 units he just won't get rid of but wants to set up MDC600 or 1200 on the radios. They don't do MDC but he is trying to find out if there is some kind of aftermarket system where a board could be installed into the radios. If anyone knows of such a sys...

XPR6500 qustion
Hello. I have been told that the XPR6500 is now being made in a 450-512 split. Is this true? Only ones I have seen on the net and ebay are the 403-470 models.

Flashcode upgrades
Hello. I have XTS3000 I want to have flashed to do GE star and a Astro Spectra flashed to do P25 digital w/ID and MDC1200. First off is this going to be costly to do this and second is this something I could do on my own or do these units have to go back the "Big M"?

Re: xts3000 9/10 code
Ok. I was wondering what that was all about. That feature may have been enabled by mistake. It hasn't appeared on the screen for a few days so maybe the problem was corrected last time it was programmed. Thanks for the info.

xts3000 9/10 code
Can anyone tell me what this XTS3000 model 3 code 9/10 is? This seems to come on the display sometimes when the radio is turned on. Radio appears to be working fine, however the radios receive kinda sucks a little.

Re: another antena question...
Well about replacing the radios, they did replace our Spectras when some of them died with CDM1250 units. As far as the HT1000 units they just keep sending them into the shop for repair when they don't work at all. Broken clips on the back of radio that hold the battery on, bad speakers, transmiting...

Re: Transmiting Problem CDM1250
This unit is not a remote mounted head. The whole radio sits inside a Havis console. The radio seems to act up at all different times of the day/night. I will start with checking the power cord port area and see what that shows us. Thanks.

CDM/HT1250 programming
I have been told that some radios can be programmed to go out of band like the Ht1000,XTS3000,etc. I have a HT1250 UHF "S split" that I would like to get down to 440 amatuer band. As of right now I have to use to use two different radios one for work and one for ham. Can this be done? One ...

Transmiting Problem CDM1250
I have a CDM1250 set up for pre/post ID at work. When I go to transmit I push the mic and the talk tone is heard but before you can even say anything the radio cuts out and does the tone again letting you talk. Sometimes it is worse were it will just keep cutting out your transmission all together. ...

Re: another antena question...
well maybe i can talk some sense into my boss about this antena problem. my job thinks they are saving money by using all of these old and wrong antenas on the radios but it sounds to me that they are just going to end up spending a lot more than a few bucks in the long run. it was like pulling teet...
