MTS2000 Out of Band question
I have been able to use the bat-trick to make my 450-520 mt2000 work in the ham bands. For a MTS2000 being programed in Windows with CPS software, is there a similar trick. How do I get my 450mhz MTS2000 to work on 440mhz?

MT2000 codeplug "too new"
I just picked up an mt2000 on ebay. When I tired to program it I get an error that says the codeplug is too new. Does this mean my RSS is too old? I have version R06.04 is there a later version? Or pehaps, the radio I bought is a lemon? Any thoughts or help is much appreciated

What is the difference between a "personality " file and the file that saved the codeplug data (Channels etc). Is setup.mot a generic personality file?
