There aren't any emergency-specific audio level adjustments, you are reliant on the volume control unless you set "Fixed Volume" and "Volume Offset" levels under the 'General Settings'. You need to be in 'Expert View' to view them. Unfortunately, they also affect other tones, suc...

I presume these are the regular analog CP200, and not the digital CP200d?
If analog, the best you can do is to point each of the other 10 channels to a scan list with channel 11 in it, and enable auto scan so the users can't turn it off.

What's new in the BN/enhanced models? Since the APX8000 form factor was the same as the AX6000, it made sense from a manufacturing standpoint for Motorola to use the same, newer hardware in both platforms, and firmware limit the APX6000 to a single band. If it works properly in 'regular' mode, but still unmutes in scan mode, try checking off "carrier detect required" in the Scan Wide screen. Not sure if it will make a difference as the help isn't very detailed on it, but it may.

100% agree with Bill on this. Your antenna is way too close, not enough isolation. The duplexer could be doing it's job perfectly, but your antenna radiating so close is effectively causing the repeater to see enough RF on it's receiver, with proper PL/DPL, to think it's a valid signal. If completel...

If it just flashes several times then does a full red cycle, it means the batteries were discharged to the point that the charger couldn't discharge them any further, and so it put them through a full rapid charge cycle.

You can patch them without using the 'patch' key if you set their talkgroups to be 'non-regroupable', but then you utilize two repeaters at each site instead of one.
