Re: Motorola Nucleus Transmitter 900MHZ
Glad you got it going. I have two Nuc transmitters with the newer exciters. These will program right in the 927 part of the band. Modulation mods have not been done but is very easy. I have one complete and ready to go on the air. I installed a 800 meg Maxtrac as the receiver and a nhrc controller. ...

I also want to thank you for a great write-up. I have one behind me that I just installed the 5pin 800 meg for the modulator. Pluged in the mic and it transmitts. I also installed a receiver to make an all in one repeter. The tx audio is great. This unit came with an internal receiver which I remove...

Can I get a CDM-1250 to scan more than 16 channels
Hi.
I have several CDM-1250s and would like to get them to scan more than 16 channels. Seems that each scan list will only hold 16, even though I can program more than 16 in a zone. Will it scan more than 16 at a time?
Thanks Walt

You are not going to get the GTX to work on anything but the 25 mhz split. Tx on 902 and receive on 927. I have programed several and they work there just fine. They do not receive very well below 927.

Motorola R2002A
Hi:
Anyone here ever used a Motorola R2002A? I found one and the price seems ok but it has a bug or two. For the most part it is working ok. It does not come with a manual. That will make it a little harder to get going.
Am I waisting my time fixing this thing?

MDC1200
I am using MDC1200 with two Maxtracs. My wife does not like to listen to the chatter on the repeaters, so she turns down the radio. Might as well turn it off. SO I set her radio up to only unsquelch when It receives the MDC signal from my radio. When she picks up the mike it puts the radio in Monito...

Well Nate... I brought it into the shop. I tacked 12v to the power swithch and went at it with the freeze spray. I found C6 on the HLN 4907 (cpu) Board would open when it was cold. I replaced it and now I can not make it fail again. When I get home I will look up what C6 does in the circuit. Thanks ...

x9000 head won't turn on in the cold
Hello x9000 operators.
I have one that does not like to wake up when it is cold (40 deg F or lower) After the truck warms up a bit it will say system check but still wont wake up. A bit warmer and it wakes up and works fine. Seems to be something with the cpu????
Thanks Walt

Hi Rapidcharger.. I added a schematic of how I wired my IRLP with two Maxtracs. You can use one if you set the jumper on the IRLP borad. Check it out on my web page below. Hi: I am using A pair of Maxtracs (for Duplex) to link my IRLP node to the Downtown 900 MHz repeater. Just need to cut the power back some and run a fan on the Transmitter radio. I have done two so far. Blanked the board to get all the acc. Replaced the filters. I removed the PA and mounted a BNC connector on the back of the frame. I checked and got 12db at .15 Microvolts. 20 db at .24 microvolts. They are 5 kc recievers but seem to receive the NB signals just fine.
