Modifing CPS band splits
I have Astro Spectra CPS trying to change band splits. I've read the CPS how to but don't understand where to find the splits. I found line AEDD8C and converted the line to decimal but still doesn't make sense. Does someone have screen shoots of how to do it? Thank would be great thanks.

If you can get an S-record for a Model III and RSS LAB you could probably force the codeplug in. You'd just have to make sure it was the same band split and features i guess.

I've tried to install the GM950 RSS however all it seems to do is make a folder called GM950 under C:\ and there's only one file in the folder. Do i have to install the RSS through DOS rather than a windows setup? Cheers

Thanks for everyone who responded I had a mate last night who's clued up in this area show me what i needed to do. The "OBT Control Channels" i totally looked over after going to the help menu and it said it was something to do with failsoft if the system goes down. THanks heaps

I own an Icom IC-Z1A and the manual says it's capable of crossband repeater. Does this mean that it can be used like a mini-repeater and re-transmit RX audio onto another band? I can only get it to do that when i press the PTT manually, not automaticaly like a true repeater. Thanks.
