Re: Motorola Astro Spectra W3 No voice tx

If after eliminating wiring issues, you still get Tx deviation without audio (if I understood you correctly), then it might be your vocon board. But it sounds like wiring might be the problem.

Re: Motorola XTS2500 Vs. XTS3000

Workhorse, yes - but depending on your system, the individual unit's feature set (analog/digital/trunking-enabled), and even firmware version (P25/9600 trunking), it may or may not be compatible with your system. A quick question to your radio shop/administrators can probably confirm. This could be ...

Hello, Now it will not transmit. It will turn on and receive fine but will not transmit. Occasionally all you hear on the other end is clicks or static but no voice. I suppose it depends on your needs. First, P25 can mean two different things - P25 Common Air Interface (CAI) is digital voice (whether conventional or as voice channels in a trunking system), but people often confuse it with P25 trunking. Are you on a trunked system? if so, which one - XTL2500 and ...

And O3 is not a mic - it's a head with an integrated mic. So as long as you have the hardware to support dual heads, I believe that is supported.

Ask Panter88 what firmware his head has. Then look up the topic that shows which O5 firmware is compatible with which radio firmware.
