Yes Multiplier did get sold.

They are maintaining the New York plant for the Multiplier line.

I am checking if that series of radio is capable.

Kenwood Windows software allows PL tones to be input in .1 increments anywhere from 67.0 through 254.1 so any non standard tone will work.

You might look into MPT1327 it is a robust trunking platform used in public safety applications. LTR & PassPort are a little weak.

You might look into Kenwood, they are doing many US Embassies and public safety installation here in the US.

That model takes a plug in mudule with a chip that throws it into programming mode. I used to have that chip but it is missing in my abiss (Garage) It is only about 2x2 with a 3" pigtail & plug. Someone has to have one.

The keys can be loaded through software and also with a cable that uses the KVL3000/+ to the TK5210 radio. It can be group keyloaded. OTAR is working in BETA stage now.

Kenwood has the VHF portable & Mobile in testing at many of the Fed. agencies right now, I has P25, 9600 trunking, DES-OFB . AES and most of the options as the XTS5000 does. It looks good.
