ok on the P1225 VHF can I compose a freq list that has a mix of 12.5khz and 25khz channels in it....or will all my chans have to be one or the other

would a VHF P1225 take a frequency 168.8625 (assuming its the right band split)
I am thinking it will because I think thats whay its called a 1225 it will take a 12.5 or 25 freq am I right?

M1225 crackling when off issue
Hey guys got an M1225 that seems to work ok but when its off you can hear an intermittent hiss/crackling noise coming from the speaker. It is wired hot all the time so theres pwr going to it in this scenario but radio is turned off

I think its gonna be maxrad MPM series but in that series looks like theres different ones any info on which is the most common one would help

Terry does your book ahow that as antenna for LTS? We have some Jedi frame radios too and this antenna looks like its different it has a male threaded part but also a gold pin that goes further down into radio and makes contact it doesnt appear to be same antenna that we have on our MTX8000 (Jedis)

does anybody know why the metal back part of mic is getting red hot "like RF" hot when your transmitting if you hold your hand in a way where the metal touches the back of mic itll make u throw the mic down
