If I remember, correct me if am wrong, but isn't the the Interconnect board on a W3 different then a low power W9? I need to convert my W9 to a W3 and trying to remember what exactly I need on parts.. anybody remember or have some for sale or trade?

I always wonder what that MAN do if program on the RSS on an astro spectra. I tried it before but nothing happen. I tried one time by programming three bottons, one for wail, manual, and siren to activate it.. siren worked but never got the manual to work ever.

One of my friend had the license plate antenna, it work good on RX and TX, only downside though was on the TX, it was really directional on where your car was facing toward.

hmmm I remember that working before when I had the radio lock enable.... maybe its a firmware issue......

Only thing I can say is just trying it again and making sure its the 2nd botton from at the back that is being pushed... if all else fail... just go in reprogram for disabled on radio lock.

You have to go under PGM and then you should see SOFT.... dont have to AS3 in front right now... but I think you alreayd know where it is from what I am reading... ONce you enter what ever you want, the next thing you do is you have to press enter which is the button above the PTT and it should set ...

Hey you guys.... just got a W3... and it does not have a extended control cable... I sooo want that thing to be sittign in the trunk of my car if it's going to be installed, couldn't I just use a straight DB 25 to extend it or is there something diffrent in the cable?

When I was living in LA when they were still analong... you can just hear it out the window because CRASH UNIT was always doing traffic stop in front of me house.. thats what I get for living to gang infested area of Hollenbeck Division.

Depending on the flashcode... I haven't seen much astro spectra being able to do soft ID at all except for one person had it once..... heck mine doesn't even do it....

Ohhhh that is nic,e to know they use the same battery only thing I know about them is that they will do Smartzone, and MDC also I think? your basic stuff as an XTS and HECK you don't even have to buy their Keyloader at all just use your existing cable and DX key loader. I think it know whats wrong.... I bet there was some smartzone being programmed in.. and somewhere in there was programmed wrong and it just keeps resetting.. I had that happen once.

maybe the programming on the codplug is screw up somewhere... usually happens... only way to find out is just read the radio and start fresh from the beginging.

I remember in the scan list you can disable scan or enble where it checks once and if it'...

Am not sure this have to do with it.... I had problems before with my radio on trunk... is your a 512k or a 1 meg radio... mine was a 512 before and I did not like trunking at all....

Something to consider if you can't figure it out at the end.
