I searched for him, seems he hasn't posted since Christmas last year, and that was a post edit.
Anyone know? He was a smart guy.

You didn't mention whether you plan to use tone or DC termination, or an IRim box. If tone, here's a document---you also didn't say if they were 760G or just 760...at any rate, this sheet ought to get you started in the right direction. You do have KCT19s I hope? I think this is hokey???
I mentioned before my new boat's marine antenna is GONE. As in broke slap off and a piece of white rg58 is wrapped around the mount. Today I notice AM/FM reception fade, start looking---there's a goofball 2 into 1 box lookin like it's dual function antenna---i.e. junk. How do I solve this? I can fix...

You're in Colorado, so perhaps this system will go on a tower on a mountain? There was an 800mhz system here a long time ago that had a really high gain(12 db Bogner) antenna on a 1700 foot tower. When you got close to it the narrow beamwidth shot right over your head---you physically look up at the...

I understand that. So I guess the FCC is just assuming there will be X amount of line loss so instead of making them both the same, they allow more output to give the umph through the cable. I think? You have to calculate and supply output and ERP on your license application(well you supply it to t...

Keep in mind, there are 2 MFBs, 4505 for 450-460, and 4605 for 460-470. You really really don't want to use the wrong band antenna---trust me, ok? :o 8) I use them all the time and they're good, tough little sticks. Ditto on the 1503. Seems Maxrad makes really good 450 stuff but their hi band stuff ...

DO you mean you are looking for a new freq for a customer or the customer's existing freq? If new, then you need to use a coordinator.

I think I read that the other guy is simplex 155.2200 and you're on a repeater pair at 155.205. What's the other side of the pair and is the 155.2050 your repeater input or output. If 155.2050 is indeed your repeater output, then I'd start with detuning the base front ends until they can hear your r...
