Fans for Spectra D44 UHF radiofor low power repeater -
What is the best way to mount 2 cooling fans to D44 UHF dash mount Spectra set to 15 watts for use as the transmitter in a desktop repeater? I was thinking about one fan on each side PA heat sink with one blowing across the PA and the other blowing away from the PA. Thanks in advance for the advice!

Re: Differences between UHF 7550 and 7550e?
Thank you very much for the info. I got an Entitlement ID about 6+ years ago for my original CPS when I had a 5550 UHF mobile. Is another one required for the new CPS 2?

What, if anything, is involved in programming these portables for DMR and conventional frequencies in the 2 meter, 440 and 902 MHz bands? Several years ago I programmed my 5550 and as I recall there was nothing I needed to do to get it to accept frequencies in the 440-450 MHz range?

FL 01/79 Error Code and MCS2000
I have a used MCS2000 M01WJL4PW4CN that shows FL 01/79 when turned on during the self check before the display changes to A C1. I believe FL 01/79 is a non-fatal error code but want to be sure before I have the radio programmed for amateur use. Do I need to be concerned about it?
