LTR link

I am planning to convert a conventional VHF 3 sites 3 channels system to LTR. The links are in UHF.
How can the link be done ? I will use the Trident boards.
The customer already has the CDM1250 for mobiles and HT750 for portables.

The sites they actually have are something like 30 miles from eachother. And I was thinking about moving out of the crowded VHF band.

Passport ? I remenber reading something about that, but it has been a while.. Where I can get more info ?

That is for a sugar cane industry mainly rurala area.
they have 7 simplex channels for the industrial area and 6 duplex divided in 3 sites.

This EEPROM problem caused a lots of problem here in Brazil, especially in the first 3 years of the production of the PRO series.
you will have to send it to Motorola. Here in Brazil they chenge the EEPROM and the flash memory for 100.

ERROR ON A SM50

I just put my hands on 3 SM50 VHF 25w radios that I acnnot read them.
All I gt is a ERROR 56 message.

Any ideas ?

Hey,

To make the M130 work for RX you have to program the radio as a repeater on the RSS.
Change to repeater mode and program the radio.... it WILL work.

The ZR310 is faster then the I20R but not enough.
I have tried to program a longer pre time for the MDC but that really anoys people.
So I was wondering if that was something better, if doesn't so I will have to live with it.

Also both of the add something like 10db loss to my receiver.

I am looking for a community repeater panel that works.
I've tried the Motorola I20Rand ZR310, both sucks.. They take too long to decode.
