Maybe the site you are affiliated to is in site trunking?
If your radio is programmed as a SmartNet radio it will not show any site trunking alerts.

The blue dot means the radio is equipped with bluetooth. If the radio did not come directly from the factory, verify that the module is in place.

I have a CF-52 with the same problem. I heard that if you use windows to manage the wireless connection vs. the Intel Pro Set software it may work better but I have never tried it.

The RSSI values vary from model to model:
Astro Spectra/XTS3000/Astro Saber
Max = 89, Lowest useable = ~35
Astro 25 Series XTS/XTL2500/5000 etc.
Max = 148, Lowest useable =~30
APX Series
Max = 174, Lowest useable = ~3something
MCS2000/MTS2000 (I forget, have't used these radios in a while)
Astro Spectra/XTS3000/Astro Saber
Max = 89, Lowest useable = ~35

You need at add a "Site Display/Search" button, when pressed it will display the SmartZone site number or the custom alias you have provided in CPS.
The Site button allows you to lock your radio to the site you are currently affiliated to and will prevent it from roaming to other sites.

There were definately more than two manufactured. I was at APCO ovber the summer and they had at least 20 working prototyps at the booth for people to play with. They also has 7-8 of the mobiles. However, as resqguy911 says there are two different models offered in regards to display and keypad.

I have not tried it in digital but in analog it will pass audio for 15-20 seconds at least. Th audio went over at least 2 zones of the SmartZone. I have noticed that even if I program in the incorrect connect tone I still am able to key up on a Talk group and it will go over multiple zones.
This is on a 4.1 SmartZone both ASTRO and analog, mostly ASTRO. 800.

It will list a frequency that is pre-programmed and is within the band split of the particular radio you have. The station also needs to have the extra memory chips on the main board that contain the IR firmware. They will say IntelliRepeater on them and give the rev such as 2.03, 4.1 etc. IIRC there are two standard memory chips and there would be two additional with the IR firmware. I dont have the manuals...
