I bought this on ebay for $25 bux or so. Its a GTX 800 MHz mobile radio. Its in great shape outside, but for some reason it shuts off 2 seconds after it powers on. How do i remove the casing from a HT 1250
I removed the top volume dial and channel selector knobs as well as the antenna and the black plastic top piece..the one with the channel numbers on it.
Do i need to pry the casing off by using a screwdriver at the bottom like the HT 1000 ??

Yeah...just came today and plopped it in the charger. Overnite sounds right,but I will email them and get the official word. Now i just need to find a DTMF front/cover and I am all set

How long do i charge the 4000mAh NiMH 7.5v batt using standard charger for the HT-1000. So far its being going for abt 8 hours. I got it at 10am and it was stone dead of course so put it in the charger. This isnt a rapid or conditoner charger.

Ok...he just gave me the RIB box and the cable that goes to the PC. I have a 25 pin serial connector laying around from my older clone rib box that works with my Maxtrac. I just took that apart and verified that pins 4 and 11 are jumpered for the bias and pins 1, 6 and 15 all have leads off of them ...
