So how can the average joe order a XTS2500 from /\/\ ? More so for the 8 meg board. or is it possible to swap the board out or have it swapped out? Mainly due to the fact that if i can't get R10 into the radio, I really don't want to be stuck with 240 mandatory personalities. and only 16 chans each ...

Re: UHF XTS4000's now available
Probably not for a while - it's not widely used except for the coasts it seems. I've had a chance to play with a few of the VHF Units - they're actually built better than a NexTel IMO, and the range is OK. Now, it's basicly an XTS5K but in a covert case? Any one know a cost for the VHF and the opti...

XTS3k S-rec needed! 450-512
I am in need of an s-record for an xts3000 model III 450-512. It needs to have a loaded flash. I would prefer the none-nick modat flash but the nick one would be fine.
Thanks in advance!

My, aren't we an ass? As far as I know, it's never been done. We've established that small SMT-type LEDs (qty. 2) are used. So do a little digging, order the parts, and try it... how do you think the rest of us have come up with lots of our Moto knowledge over the years? Besides, when you get done,...

Question about the AS3
So i've been curious as to if it's posible to change the backlighting color on the display.
It's green and that's cool, but i was wondering if i could change it to say a blue color.
Also what's involved in this and what would be needed.
Any help and input would be great thanks

Motorola Saber SI Flashcode Question?
How would I go about getting the flashcode for a Motorola Saber SI 800MHZ?
I don't have any software or anything to hook it up to. Is there a way to read the radio without that?
any info would be great thanks.
Jeff.
