So how can the average joe order a XTS2500 from /\/\ ? More so for the 8 meg board. or is it possible to swap the board out or have it swapped out? Mainly due to the fact that if i can't get R10 into the radio, I really don't want to be stuck with 240 mandatory personalities. and only 16 chans each ...

When read in CPS it states 8 meg. but on service mode it only shows 4 meg,

XTS2500 Firmware Upgrade Question

Ok, I just bought an XTS2500 UHF R2 Model III. My question is what is the new Firmware release and how would I go about having the radio flashed? Is it something i can do myself, or does a it have to go to /\/\? Also since this radio has FPP, would i get flack from /\/\ ? Thanks in advance guys.

Probably not for a while - it's not widely used except for the coasts it seems. heh, I don't mean a codeplug out of the radio just something close to it along the lines of an already set up chann line up with freqs. I'd rather not spend 1-2 hrs putting everything in and changing all the NAC settings

I am in need of an s-record for an xts3000 model III 450-512. It needs to have a loaded flash. I would prefer the none-nick modat flash but the nick one would be fine.

You can also mount them to your front quarter panels.



Right above the Wheels at a kick out so it'll give you more intersection warning.

Also you could mount them verticaly in front of the tires, on the fenders

Question about the AS3

So i've been curious as to if it's posible to change the backlighting color on the display.




It's green and that's cool, but i was wondering if i could change it to say a blue color.


Also what's involved in this and what would be needed.
