Hi all,
I have a XPR2500 that will not power on.....cannot power on with power button or by applying 12v to pin 10 of acc. I've open the radio and tried apply 12v the point labelled ignsns, but still can't get it to come on. Any ideas?

There is a firmware update for your repeater...but not sure that is the issue. Are you connecting to cor on system connector j5 c02?

To high vswr, I've just put 6 of these into service and if the tx is seeing to much reflected they shut down as you have experienced. Bad Antenna, line, connector, filter....one of those (even filter out of tune).

as an added note, when i go into the service menu of the radio with rss(specifically tx freq warp) the radio behaves normally when not transmitting. The green light is on and the receiver is happy. The frequency error is adjusted to -10Hz.

the files that bring radios up to 1.06.20 are for repeaters only....if you had an old xpr8300 with very old firmware you would have to bring it up to version 1.06.20 first then you could upgrade to the latest firmware.
