Thanks dbcomm.

mmhh, I don't think so. The label is exactly the same as the one with the serial number. It's probably an original label of Motorola.

Does anybody else have an idea?

Internal Tracking. What's that?

Hi,

On the back side of my Motorola GP380 is a label with a bare code and the indication "Internal Tracking".

Does anybody know what that exactly mean? Is there a special feature in the radio?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

Hi,

Did you manage to solve the problem?

Because I'm in the same situation with my GP380...

Erro message displayed : "Couldn't open port. Check whether Device/RIB are powered on or not, and the device to rib, and the rib to pc connection is ok."

Any solution?

Thanks,

Well, so it could be the radio itself...

Do you have a solution to make the radio programmable again?

Hallo Andreas,

I've tried with both ports, but no results. I fact, it looks like the same as if the radio is not connected at all. I made tests with ComTOOL, CPS 03.02, 06.00 and others versions... problem is still the same.

Any other idea?

Thanks,

A small question: is it possible to program 5-tone encoding and decoding sequences on a Motorola MT2000?

Thanks for your answer
