How do I change the amount of time an MDC ID or Alias is shown on the display once it's decoded. I know its in the CPS but where?

I have the new ver 1.1.1 I have re-checked the settings and they are correct. The pager still goes off for all tones even if they are set to off duty.

is it because the pager is scanning two ch's?

Setting up a min 5 with 2 ch's. I have some tones on duty and some off suty on Freq 1. I have the function switch set up to silent scan with the on/ off duty turned on, but the pager keeps picking up all tones on freq 1. Any ideas.

Did anyone come up with Dual Heads for the CDM's yet. I thought a company called Quick Connect was working on it?

Is anyone aware of problems with the cable between the head and the radio on an MCS2000 II VHF 100 watt. My new radio was installed with a bad cable. When the shop changed it, they tested the new cable first, but when installed it didn't work again. Are the cables not made well, could they be damage...

I am programming some HT1250's for the first time...VHF...can they scan more then 16 ch's...and if so what do I need to do ?...the radio as some 60 ch's in it and the guys want to scan all of them.

Do I need to put the radio in any mode to program / Read ?

Has anyone heard about the CDM being made dual head, by quick mount - sold through M. If so how much and when ?...and also has anyone heard about the CDM being made dual band VHF/UHF through one head?

With the dual heads installed on both a VHF and UHF set in my Fire Chief's car we are getting wicked noise through the rear amplified speakers from the engine - The filters are installed - any ideas. And why does the rear Speaker need to be such a big amp ?

on the side of the ht1000 if you push the sql or blue button long enough the radio beeps..1 beep then 2 beeps...so on the back to one beep again...one button is in one tone the other button is in a different tone...what do they do ?
