That is where we started. All they offer is a pigtail bundle to splice in to. I havent the clout to switch the vehicles over to Firecom unfortunately.

Re: DC Power Surge Protection
There was a guy in the Bradley/Paso Robles area making awesome power cleaners until recently. If you ask nicely they guys in the comm shop may have a few lying around. They look like a plastic box inside of a piece of aluminum bent into a U shape with mounting tabs. In about 10 minutes you can set o...

Kenwood 8150 or 890. Both are well under a grand, and give you far more features than a CDM12 or 1550.

Saber Systems Saber and Astro Saber cable issues
I have several programming cables here and do not know how to identify which radio they belong to. Two are marked Astro Saber/Saber Si only, heatshrinked on label, and two have no markings at all. How do I figure out if these are for the sabers or the astro sabers?

saber chargers go to "stand by" not "charging"
I have about a dozen chargers, a ton of new in box batteries, and a problem. When I put a battery into the charger the lights cycle then "stand by" lights up. There is nothing on the battery nor is there anything covering the charger pins.

What we ended up doing was programming one radio as RICK Receive and one as RICK Transmit. This coupled with an ebay style RICKless cable made it work just fine.

GM300 repeater setup/programing
We are trying to set up some repeaters with GM300s. I have one RICK and a few of the radio-radio interface cables.
How do we program the accesory cable to make it work as a repeater? I believe pin 8 is programmed for COR, but have lost my notes and am having issues searching. Mahalo

Do you get power to the rest of the lights (headlight flasher, strobes, gun lock, and stuff) my smart siren likes to stop putting out power to the lights and stuff, but the siren and horn ring work just fine when that happens.
