Win 10 update-Now can’t program APX
Using Motorola USB cable on APX 8500 with 05 control head. Win 10 did update and now control head cycles on and off when programming cable is connected.
Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Re: HMN1090 Hot Mic Issue
Fineshot1, thanks for your reply. I am very familiar with the physical jumper on the circuit board. I am trying to find out how we ended up with mic’s that did not have the jumper installed. Was it an option when we ordered? I don’t do the ordering so I don’t know if this was an option?

HMN1090 Hot Mic Issue
We have a number of HMN1090A through D mic’s. Some of our 1090A mic’s do not have the jumper (JUX) on the internal circuit board inside the mic to allow hot mic operation during an ERTT. Does anyone know if this was an option when ordering the mic or a random mistake by Motorola? Also, does anyone k...

Howard, remove the two knobs from the top of the radio as well as the antenna. Remove the battery cover and the battery. At the bottom of the radio inside the battery compartment, use a small flat screwdriver to remove the inside of the battery compartment. It will pry up from the bottom towards the...

Greg, I will attempt an explanation. The delayed N function starts timing after the carrier drops on the very first page off tower 1. The stored voice recording starts immediately after the first page is decoded. I use dynamic recording which will continue recording until the carrier drops the secon...

With all of the E-One's I have recently worked on, they all had a seperate fuse block for added accessories mounted behind a kick panel on the driver's side behind the brake pedal. There is usually a 6 or 8 output block there that you should be able to use for your chargers. I am quite sure that thi...

Some info for LT-EMTC9, I have recently installed some equipment in a Toyota with those low profile mini fuses. The add a fuse pigtails with the wire coming off will work in those fuse holders. They are physically the same size holder, the fuse is made for lower profile. I have used them a couple of...

In my experience with the Min IV, the only way to get the pager to decode with a continuous tone is with a single group call tone, not a two-tone page. In reading the thread you attached, it sound like they are programming the pager with different tone sets by turning the pager off and on again duri...

Minitor V Low Volume
I have had 35 Minitor V SV pagers in one Department since Jan1/06. In the last week, 3 of them came back with very low volume. It does not matter where the volume pot is adjusted, you can barely hear the audio and the alert beeps. Has anyone else seen this problem?

Min IV SV pager-No Receive
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced Min IV SV pagers with intermitant receive. If you squeeze the bottom of the pager housing, it will start to receive and drop out when you let go.
Thanks.
Thanks.
