Earmic

I have found an earmic that works great. It's made by a little company in Lancaster Ca and I have sold hundreds of them to Fed, State and local agencies.

$65.00 for the Mic and depending on the radio, $50 tp $85 for the adapter.

If you are interested, Pvt e-mail me for more details.

NYPD & Vertex

The City of N.Y. Police Dept went to great lengths in their testing of many different brands and models of radios to REPLACE older Motorola radios that are dying. This change to Vertex is NOT a tempory change until Motorola gets their act together. NYPD bought 8000 portable radios for all divisions....

Mystery antenna truck ?

You could be right but our shop built ( Lights, sirens, equipment racks, push bumpers, radio installs, cell phones, Sat Phones etc ) quite a few of these trucks for ATF. They got them from the U.S. Air Force as part of a drug interdiction agreement.

Mystery antenna truck ?

Someone here is correct. It is indeed an ATF truck. It is part of their SRT (Swat) group. They have several of them all over the U.S. Some of them carry their swat equipment, some are comm trucks and others are for other support functions. These guys are VERY anal about these vehicles, so if you mus...

You might be right but a keyloader cable would have a connector like an sts speaker mic. This cable has a DB-25 on one end and a 10 pin connector like the spectra mic has.

The other day at the swap meet I found what I belive to be a programming cable for the spectra radio. I'm told that this cable will allow programming of this radio throught the mic connector on the front of the radio. I've tried to use the cable but it does not work. Has anyone heard or seen this ca...
