I like what these radios offer but our EX600s and CDM1250s give us a lot of interoperability (between other Gov'ts on UHF). The "R" bandsplit does not cover enough for us.

I have Wiscomm cables for the EX series and the HT series. Both are excellent and include a connector for the CDM series mobiles. For me they were worth the money.

I've seen some of those cables offered on eBay before and they are not so hot. Some don't mount up to the portables well and others just don/t work. Can't be a connector, the info is there on the screen it is just way too light to read unless you hold it at an angle and study it.
