My XTS, Astro Spectra, and Astro Saber are all programmed alike. Minus a couple changes per radio. As far as alpha tags go, If its a public safety freq, I will just tag it with the name of the Dept and what they use it for, for Ham stuff, I normally don't put the callsign as the tag, just the RX fre...

We were still using iDEN at work up until about 2 weeks ago, They replaced our i530's with the Sprint equivalent and they are TERRIBLE. No service in our building, and it barely works outside the building. Sprint's Direct Connect is a JOKE.

That would be the flashcode for the radio. There are some utilities on the internet that will decode what that means. I believe that all zeros with a 9 at the end is conventional operation only.

If im not mistaken, all MCS2000's are FlashPort radios. This just means that you can add different features by having the radio flashed by Motorola.

Do they require that you pay for your own radio equipment? Wouldn't they issue you the radios for their system, or am i wrong? And you managed to list some VHF as well as some 800mHz freq's in there in that list, and that kind of bandsplit is NOT happening on any Motorola Radio ever made for commer...
