Looking for some help.. i have a motorola xtl5000 uhf high split 03 head. I updated the firmware in the radio and now the radio powers up in maint mode.i went and updated the firmware again to see if that would fix it.. Anyone have any idea on how to fix this problem.

I'm looking for some up on my Motorola rick. I have 2 cdm 1250s hook up and 2 antennas6 feet apart. The test freqs are 154 for tx and 158 for rx. I'm getting no sound out of the rick. The radios rx and tx but no audio out ? anyone have any ideas... Thanks Bob

The radio used to have all my channels in it then it Power cycled and now comes up Unprogrammed. I tired to read and wirte the radio and i get an error message can not find com port.

I have a cdm 1250 low band that was sitting around for 2 yrs, i went to power it up and the channel came up then it powered it self off and come back on as un programmed ? I went to read the radio and it can't ? anyone else have this problem ? thanks

I loaded the software and when i power on the radio it says " The File "USB8023' on the motorola install disk is needed.

My station uses pocsag 1500 Baud alpha paging to get calls. I was wondering if set off a Minitor 5 pager using the Pocsag capcode? I just looking to set the pager off don’t need voice traffic.

Thanks For the replys. I built voice files for all the talk groups for my radio. But now the Users want it in the radios and i wasn't sure if the nfpa had any guide lines.. Thanks

Is anyone using the voice files on the Motorola xts5000/2500 radios on a Public Safety Radio system? I have a few departments that what them in the radios but not sure if NFPA has a rule on how loud they have to be. Any help or this would be great.
