Thanks EKS, I too have been hoping that Bat Wing or anyone else involved with this might see this and respond also. Hopefully that may still happen. Reading the Trunker documentation, it does look like it puts out RS232 to control the RX freq, but I have no clear Idea as to how to implement this to t...

Computer controlled Maxtrac ?
[quote="Bat Wing"] With 800MHz Maxtracs so cheap these days, and the lack of cheap, quality, computer controlled scanners, I need someone to develop a PIC to interface a computer to the PLL in a Maxtrac (receive only). Hi all, I would like to know if anyone ever got this working. I've just...

I renamed it to indicate it is a portable (H), even though I know it's in the GTX portable category. Also I saw where the 800 maxtrac CP's were named MAXTRK80.B7 etc. which is not a serial number. I not only tried the one I sent but also the maxtrac CP's with no luck with them either. I have noticed...

Hi all, I want to thank those who made this database available and those who have contributed CP's to it. Hi group, As per my previous posts concerning the MTX900s,this is where i'm at: I took the radio to a guy who had MTX810 LABTOOL and used his computer and was able to read the mtx "which is amazing to me considering that this is a MTX900s". I made some changes to the cp (sys ID,added 1 con...

Hi, Well in line with Monty's reply I plan to get another RIB. But I also tried to turn off EMM386 and the comp said EMM386 driver not loaded so I turned HIMEM to low in config.sys, restarted and it still didn't work. So I think that maybe it's the rib and/or possibly 25mhz is too fast for this sw. U...

LABTOOL QUESTION
Hi all,
OK,one more important question for now...
I have access to MTX900S LABTOOL which is what i've been trying to read the radios without success,(POWER FAULT).
The question is, when using LABTOOL,is a "dongle" like that shown on Bat required ?
Thanks to the board,
franko

Cable Pinout ?
Hi,
In reference to my previous post (Programming Problem),according to Bat,many HT's such as HT600,MTX800,MTX900 etc. all use the same cable. "RTK4205C"
Does someone have the pinouts for this cable so it can be compared to my homemade cable ?
Thanks again,F.C.

I buy my cameras and multiplexers etc. from http://www.cctvoutlet.com. But wherever you buy from,I highly recomend that you broadcast your surveilance images to all tv's in your home using an modulator. If you have cable service, or coax to your tv outlets, you can inject the output of the modulator...

Hi, I just recently converted a B5 with a B4 codeplug by blanking the logic board and re-initializing as a B4. Everyting went perfect, with the help of some great members of this forum. However,it did not TX because of not having the correct RF board. That is, no TX in the range I needed to do talkar...

Hi, The model # for motorola trunking I,II and IIi capable GTX is M11UGD6CB1AN. For LTR GTX it is M11UGD6CU1AN. These are for 800mhz. You can check on this at batlabs.com/gtx.html I personally don't know if they can be converted or not but I'm sure a LTR unit won't work on Type I,II or IIi systems. ...
