Dead Radius CM300

Post by Andy Corbin »

I received a VHF CM300 for service. Complaint was the radio would not turn on. Problem was verified and power to the radio was OK. I noted when I got the radio on my test bench, when I applied power and turned the power switch on, I could detect a low level "hiss" sound through the speaker. No display, no backlight, no receive or transmit.

I do not have a service manual on this radio. Does Mother M still offer support on this radio. I am just trying to decide whether it is worth it to try and repair.

Model #AAM50KQF9AA1AN

Tnx,
Andy

You can get the manuals on the repeater-builder site, go to the Motorola index and it's the first link under the 'Radio-Specific Pages and Article' section.
