Motorola quarter wave antennas

Just out of curiosity does anyone know who makes the quarter wave “coat hanger” mobile antennas Motorola sells? They are different than the other button type antennas you come across because they don’t have the brass button at the base of the antenna. I have always wondered which manufacture makes these.

Years ago it was either Maxrad or Larson. These days, perhaps PCTel.
