MTR2000

Post by datatechnician »

I acquired a MTR2000 UHF and using the RSS shows firmware version R001.00.000
is there a updated version for this available?
When I am on the station alignment page the TX Aux Input button is grayed out.and not accessible
The station has wireline card TTN5067
i am attempting to control this repeater using an external controller

RSS R03.02.01

Thanks

The wireline card is for standard 2-wire or 4-wire tone remote control using the station's built-in controller. The Tx Aux Input on the station alignment screen is greyed-out because it is not adjustable as currently set in the code plug. I suggest you use the RSS built-in help files to determiine what other settings or functions conflict with that input.
Chances are that in order to connect an external controller to that station, you will need to purchase additional physical hardware. It's probably called a "Wild Card Interface" connector and cabling and would be described in the MTR2000 station service manual.
