80 amp relay suggestions

Been doing some Googling, but can't seem to find a *good* *cheap* relay with screw terminals.

I'll be using one with a charge guard to kill all accessories in a couple of vehicles to help with parasitic loads, with people who just can't turn things off of have too much of a standby load. Just going to use the charge guard to trip the relay on when the vehicle is running.

Figuring an 80amp should more than cover the amprage with the lights and radios going to be safe. I don't want to have to make new A+ connectors so I can just take that off the battery and screw right into the relay.

Used to use the starter relays in older Fords. Try NAPA or an auto parts stores. Should be fairly easy to find.

I have three in the current build - one for each master stage and one for the 600-watt inverter.

We use these. They have series/parallel diodes installed so save time in the field adding them.

Typically, starter solenoids are not rated for continuous duty.

According to the NAPA site, the ST-95 is a starter solenoid. As such, it may not be rated for continuous duty.

Golf cart control relays are rated for high amperage and continuous duty.

Specs we found on NAPA ST-95 is 80 Amps, 16-20 ohm coil and continuous duty with copper contacts. Those relays do look like a good option as well.

FET based, 0.01 ohm or less on resistance, switches on automatically on Vin>13.0VDC, can be manually enabled or disabled.
