Whelen WeCan I/O Board

I purchased a WeCan I/O board for a Liberty lightbar and I noticed that there are some extra connections on the board.

Where the takedown/alley lights plugin there is another wire labeled "Aux". What is this one for?

Then i noticed a whole spot for a wiring harness labeled "flashers". What are the flashers for?

My I/O board came with all the needed wiring harnesses for a Liberty lightbar so I'm moreover curious about these extra sports/wires.

I've tried finding a spec sheet on the Whelen website, but one does not seem to be listed.

Also is there much of a difference in a WeCan Gen 1, Gen 2, and Gen 3?
