2006 Toyota Tacoma

Post by scvfd1204 »

Hi guys!

Just got an 06 Toyota Tacoma for a work vehicle.

Of course, the company provides very minimal warning light equipment, which is basically a dim mini-strobe lightbar on the roof.

I am in the process of ordering a whelen corner strobe kit and am trying to figure out the best place to put the hideaway bulbs in the front end, other than in the headlights. My supervisor has his in the headlight beam area, but when you have the headlights on, your strobes are washed out.

As far as the back end, I will be placing those in the reverse lights.

Anyone out there had any luck placing whelen hideaway strobe tubes in the front end of an 06 Tacoma?

Ideas, thoughts and suggestions are welcome..
