Hello everyone,
This is my first time posting here on this forum. I have been a volunteer firefighter for 10 years now, and starting into the Public service radio sale and install business.
I am looking for a new dash light to replace my Whelen Dash master Dual strobe. I have seen these Copstick LED's on the Internet and wondered if anyone on here has had any experience with them. Are they of good quality, how bright, etc?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Copstick L.E.D.'s ???

You might pose this question over on eLightbars... http://www.elightbars.org.
The CopSticks are OK for head-on warning, and absolutely dismal for anything off-axis. They are fairly dim spotlights, that's about it.
A better option would be a Whelen dual Talon, Slimlighter MM, InnerEdge product, etc.
Also, not being a major company, future warranty coverage is not nearly as secure.

In God we trust. Everyone else, we run through NCIC, Thinkstream, and III.
I would go with one of these.... they are brand new, bright, and not to bad on the wallet

We just installed some of the new Federal Signal Vipers. Very bright and a good price.

They have great off axis (off to the side) lighting. Most dash lights are poor off to the side. I think that sometimes too much emphasis is put on direct on light brightness. Intersection warning is a real issue, and lighting to each side is very important.
