Hide away strobe length question

Post by n1pj »

Does anyone have any Hide-away strobe tubes lying around and a ruler or tape measure close by? How long is the U shaped strobe light from the base to the tip? Working on a Whelen hideaway strobe tube project and I don't have the strobes yet but need that dimension today. Thanks

I have some old tubes here. They are the push in ones. It is 1 7/16 inch from the part where the mounting surface would be to the very end of the tube. Hope that makes sense.

Same distance for a flange (screw in) mount as well.
