XTL rear port programming

Post by asmitty0010 »

Can you use motorola part number HKN6161A to program from the rear accessory port? XTL W series are popping up for pretty cheap and looking to see if I could purchase this cable instead of the W series mic port cable. I realize this wouldn't program 110 watt units. Looking at mid power units.

thanks.

"I beg pardon, sire. Won't we hit our own troops?"
"Yes....but we'll hit theirs as well. We have reserves....attack"

If they are remote mount yes, if they are dashmount you would need to add an ignition sense wire.
