cdm1250 narrowband to wideband?

Post by n4fox »

Is there a way to get a cdm1250 to go from narrow band back to wide band? Aside from getting a code from moto? I read the rss 06:12:08 and later narrow band by default. Is there a way to go back to 06:12:05 and wideband, If a radio was programmed with the newer software?

What radios do you own?: XTS2500, XTS5000, and MTS2000

you'll need to get a wideband entitlement key from Motorola. You'll need to request one for your CPS on MOL after you complete an online course which basically makes you certify you won't program wideband where you're not supposed to. Once you have the entitlement, your CPS will allow wideband programming.
