MTX1500 CPS

Post by 19SargeUSMC56 »

Just had one of these handed to me......websearch returns ZERO results re programming this puppy. Does anyone know if software is even available for this thing? Looks like an HT1250, but the Pro radio cps is not compatible.

According to MOL, it should use Professional series CPS. What version do you have that's not working?

There is a chance that it uses the MTX8250/MTX9250 CPS which is different than Pro CPS due to addition of SmartZone trunking. SZ Trunking never existed in the 750/1250/1550 series radios so that is why the PRO series CPS may not support that partiuclar model. Shooting form the hip here.
