GM950 Power level

GM950 Power level

Hi can I see that power levels are High 25 watts and 5 watts, can i program the GM950 for as low as 2 watts as I need this to drive a transverter, if so how is this done.

There is software hack, but I'm not sure wether it works or not.
The easyest way is to place a trimmer resistor in place of the big smd resistor near the antenna connector.
The higher the value, the lower the power. Program your radio for 5 Watts and experiment...
