Motorola GTX handheld convertion

Post by KD0ILS »

At a local Pawn Shop I have the possibility to buy (3) Motorola GTX "CB walkie talkies". The model number of all (3) is H11UCD6CB1AN. From the little research I've done is it even possible to have these programed to 902-928mhz or to I NEED to find the mobile/HT models with the fourth digit in the model number "W".
thanks for the help

That model number is for an 800 MHz radio. It won't do you any good for 900.
