900 Maxtrac PIN Shift, 27K resistor Mod Help

Post by Max-trac »

OK on AA2LS's pin-shift mod.
Where do you tie pin 4 to (via a 27K resistor)???
To pin 14? ... or to the trace you cut going to R212??

Got the full band, 902 - 927 ---- tx AND rx!!

On the pin-shift, you cut the trace and then hook the resistor to the pad going over to R212, not to pin 14.
This is needed as when you get the left side to rx the whole band, the 902-903 tx will be too high in voltage on that side.

I did the WIRE VCO stripline mod vs the conductive pen!! It Worked!
Thanks to everyone for the tips!
